Especially on my Mother's side of the family.
My grandmother was Annie Blaha born 1905 and married Clyde Winchel in Minnesota in 1922. Her Mother was Anna Davidson (Davison) and her father was John Blaha. John was born in Bohemia, but am not sure where Anna was born, as her and John were married in Wisconsin in 1895 and have been told that they resided in Wisconsin their whole life. However, my grandmother who was married in Minnesota in 1922 was only 17 years old and can't imagine that she would have went to Minnesota to get married, especially when she apparently had a sister Mary Lisker (1897) who was 25 and lived in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
