My great grandmother Annie Shrive was a teacher at the Chicago Normal School. Julia Holden and Maggie Stokes were related to her.

Harry Coffee was a sucessful clothing merchant in Fresno, CA.

Ad placed in the 1942 yearbook for Fresno Technical High School.

Harry was born August 29, 1889 in Oakland, California and later in life became a member of "Native Sons of the Golden West". Harry traveled to Honolulu in 1899 and worked for several years as a clerk in his uncle Samuel Ehrlick's store.

Harry Coffee's clothing store carried 'high-end' clothes and was quite successful.
The clothing store he started in Fresno is still there, located at 395 E. Shaw Ave., Fresno.

This is a picture of my GreatAunt Effie Parsley and her husband Joe Coffee
they lived in Russellville,Ark till their death. Uncle Joe outlived Aunt
Effie and he was a well known blacksmith, he taught blacksmithing at
one of the community College's near Russellville.
This picture was given to the Pope Co Ark Historical Society
by their 4 daughter's.
