Loaf of French Bread
3oz. Philly cream cheese
1/2 pd. grated cheddar cheese
1 cube of melted butter
2 egg whites beaten
Directions:
First cut crust from French Bread then cube into bite sized pieces and set aside. In mixing bowl, break cream cheese into pieces - add grated cheddar cheese and pour melted butter over cheeses. Beat with a fork rapidly. Next beat egg whites until stiff and fold into cheese mixture. Dip bread cubes in mixture and bake for 10 min. at 375 degrees or until cheese is melted.
My Grandmother used to serve this on holidays. It was a family favorite!
