He had siblings Maude Elma Brocious (1908-1975), Robert Donald Brocious (1913-), and Keith Brocious (1920-1929). He was married to Evelyn Anne Anderson (1930-2001). Together they had at least two children together. Alvin served in the US Army from March 17, 1943 until his discharge on October 25, 1945.
