Her father was born in Indiana and her mother was born in Illinois. She had one brother, Patrick, and one sister, Shannon.
Dana Marie Brennan married James C. Jorgensen on August 11th 1984, and they later divorced on November 29th, 2000.
Dana Jorgensen then married Roger Odom.
Dana Odom died on September 13th, 2004, in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas at the age of 42. She was murdered.
Dana's body was found in a wooded area in southern San Antonio, Texas by San Antonio police. Within a few weeks of her death, the police obtained a warrant for Carlos Rey in the matter of the 42-year-old's murder. See Poth man charged with SA woman’s murder. The case was later featured on an episode of the television show "The First 48".
Carlos was convicted of murder after a trial.
