Warren A. Boynton was born to Asa A. Boynton (1882-1971) and Mary M. Boynton (1879-1957) and was married to Forna Plumb. They had a son together Warren K. Boynton (1933-2008).
Warren's father was Warren Asa Boynton. I don't know much about WK, except that he was my half-brother. I doubt he ever knew about me. My mother's name was Adelle, and she worked for Warren senior for a while. They conceived me in 1954 and I was born in 1955.
Warren Sr was committed to his wife and son, and he declined to recognize me or have anything further to do with my mother after I was born.
I saw him once in a restaurant when I was a teenager. I was having lunch with my mother when she asked me if I wondered what my father looked like. She pointed to a man and I asked, "Is that what he looks like?" She replied, "No, that is he." He didn't notice her, as he appeared to be having a business lunch with a colleague. My mother didn't attempt to catch his attention.
I have two half-brothers that I was raised with, and I often thought of Warren K and wondered what he was like. I had as much blood in common with him as I do with my two brothers. I felt my life wasn't really complete without my oldest brother.
I wish I had known him, but now it's too late. He probably wouldn't have wanted to know that I exist anyway.

Ironically, I too was “sired” by Warren Asa, Warren Keith’s father. I was luckier and had the opportunity to correspond with and meet Warren Sr., but at a certain point, for a couple reasons (one of which was to protect the feelings of my dad who raised me) I decided to cease communication. Warren Senior was a particularly interesting and creative man. He was charming, well spoken, and apparently made most of his fortune in real estate. He taught real estate as a faculty member, and was active in a realtors association in either Los Angeles County or San Diego County.
