GLENMAGGIE.
I regret to announce the death of Mrs. J. Curtain,
landlady of the Junction Hotel, which sad event
took place on Friday, the 2nd inst. The deceased
lady was buried in the Glenmaggie cemetery.
The funeral took place on Sunday, and was largely
attended.
Mrs. Curtain came here from Mount Look Out with
her husband and family about ten years since.
Her death was the result of a cold contracted
a fortnight ago.

MARY M. JOLLEY of Princeton, formerly of Oradell, died Saturday. She was born in Ireland and came to the United States in 1958. She had been trained as a nurse and served in the British Army during World War II. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Oradell. She was a member of the Oradell Book and Needle Club. Arrangements: Mather-Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton.

James Begley born abt 1781 Ireland married Mary McGinnis also born in Ireland, cannot find any parentage or siblings, all I can find is 1 child John Begly born 1810 Donegal Ireland, immigrated to Scotland around 1825 and married Isabella McArthur Dec 1836 Neilston Renfrew Scotland. In the 1841 scottish census they were living on McAlpine and James was living with them, there was no sign of Mary??.They had 4 boys James, Alexander >apparently twins?? Alexander is my 2nd great grandfather. John and Archibald. John and Alexander immigrated to Canada around 1871, they showed up in the 1871 canadian federal census. Alexander married Annie Faustman and resided in the Hamilton region where they had some children and later moved to Toronto Quebec Ave where they resided until there deaths, Alexander died before 1900 and Annie remarried to a James Hueston.
