My grandfather George A. [Anthony middle name] Bahm married Louise Sands. I see the Sands lineage on the web too. The Sands, Thomas and Petrina came from Norway to America in 1888. They then lived in Punxsutawny borough, Jefferson County, PA. There they lived on Cherry Street and had 7 children: Twig, Charles, Mary, Louise, Clarence, Rubye and Margaret.By 1920 Louise, my mom's mom and my grandma, is married and lives on Market Street, in Youngstown, Ohio. Then on Cohasset St., Youngstown, Ohio, and when the kids were out of the next, George A and Louise lived on Tippecanoe Rd., Canfield, Ohio. We were a close family and visited all the time. By 1930 Fed. Census, Clarence is in Youngstown, Ohio and for sure by 1935 living on Regents street with his mom, Petrina. Petrina was 67 and widowed. She was also with him for the 1940 census, as a widow. Daughter Ruby, my Aunt Ruby, was living with them in the 1930s. In the 1940s, Rubye was not but Margaret was.

George Bahm and Mary Bahm came from Germany. George Bahm was born in Wurttenberg, Germany in 1841. His wife, Mary, born in Wurttenberg in 1843. I'm not sure when they arrived but by 1890 Fed. Census he was in Millvale borough, Allegheny, PA. They had a family right away and for about ten year. All 6 children born in Millvale. The six were Wilhelm b. 1873; George [my great grandfather and my grandpa George's dad] b. 1874; Katie 1877; Mary 1878; Minnie 1879; Minnie 1880.
