A photo of James Franklin Anders, horseback in Miami. James's brother, Charlie had TB and they decided to move to Miami in hope of improving Charlie's health. The two brother bought a large parcel of land and started Miami's 1st public transportation system. After Charlie's death, James moved to Blountstown, FL and started a livery business.

I found a treasure trove of pictures in Columbus,OH several years ago through a Trost cousin. Related to Trost families would be Anders, Buck or Barck, Granson or Gransow, Knieling, Krumm, Lange, Wollenzien, Zoschnick (Southwick). Nearly all German settlers came to Ohio first (Fairfield or Cuyahoga). Some later went to Champaign Co., IL & others in Clinton Co., MI.
