Jerome T. "Sharky" Szarkowitz was born on August 12, 1941, to the late Thomas F., and Mary S. (Dorshak) in Rothschild, Wisconsin. He attended D. C. Everest High School, and upon graduation, he enlisted in the United States Navy's Seabees (C.B.'s Construction Battalion) unit. He made a career out of his superlative selfless devoted service to our great country. A few years after retiring from the Navy, on or about April 25, 1984, Jerome passed away suddenly.
Jerome enjoyed drawing and furniture making in his spare time. He mostly cherished his family and the times they would spend together.
Jerome was survived by his daughter, Deanne "Dee-Dee", his brothers James (Dorothy), Joseph (Sherry), Roger (Gail), Jack (Joni), and his sisters Rose (Tim Nowinsky), Joy (Harry Trierweiler, and June (Randy Rice), and many nieces, and nephews.
