Since posting this photo, I believe that he is David O. Petty, brother to my grandfather, Jacob Coleman Petty and s/o Josiah and Harriet COLMAN PETTY of Perry Co., OH. He married Annie GRIGGS.

This man resembles the posted photo of Thomas Jefferson Coleman of AL in 1905. These are not kin of mine--I just noticed a resemblance, and since this man is unknown I wanted to suggest that others check it out. --PDB

I am a retired educator with health problems which limit my research at times, but history and genealogy in particular have been life long loves and I am now able to spend the time I have always wished that I could have on my research.
