Percival served in Royal Navy during WW1 serving on HMS Dido. He was discharged on medical grounds having contracted Malaria. He was awarded British War Medal in 1923 & 1st class Good Conduct Badge in 1917. In civilian life he worked as a military draughtsman for Torpedo Design. He also was a fine artist who produced many fine watercolour & oil paintings.
Percival Lovatt Bryant was born on February 15, 1890 in England United Kingdom to George Wallace Bryant and Annie Lovatt, and had siblings Cecil Bryant, George Bryant, Mabel Bryant, William Bryant, Sidney Bryant, Alfred Bryant, Robert Bryant, and Kitty Bryant. He married Eileen "Eily" (Hehir) Bryant on January 1, 1916, and they were married until death separated them. He had children Mary Margaret (Bryant) Burden and Michael Percival Bryant.
