yeah why is.that a bad thing.to.question here i mean look at.their.f***** faces. they both look either constipated or.just.plan uncomfortable with each.other lol
People didn't generally smile in the more formal pictures. It looks like that's not really the car they're driving...the headlights look drawn on. Many of the photos of my parents, aunts, and uncles from before 1920didn't have them smiling, and my grandparent's photos (they were born in the mid-1800's) showed them very serious, like this couple. Awkward moment, too...people knew what went on during a honeymoon, and it was embarrassing for a lot of women who knew that people knew what was going to happen. A different age and attitude...very uptight and prim.
i was just.going.to say that. they look like.some s***.out.if thise thantos.archive books lol god. all.propped up to look alive when their actually dead
theres a difference between posing for a formal photo where your just serious, and being outwardly uncomfortable and i think the latter of the two is what is happening here lol
I blame the photographer. Both are looking at the same spot off camera, down and to the left. If they were looking forward and slightly up, their expressions would be improved.
They didn't smile because it literally took like 5 minutes until the flash would go off!!! Photographers would ask people to not have expressions and to be very still so pic wouldn't blur!
People had to hold an expression for a few seconds and nothing looks worse than forced frozen smile. So they usually looked unsmiling... Or maybe they were just uncomfortable.. Some photos I have the subjects look apprehensive - and many people only had formal photgraphs taken on special occasions like weddings, etc.
Unfortunately it was not happily ever after. They had one infant that died at birth or premature. My Great Uncle Otis died in 1918 and Anna never remarried. She passed in 1966.
Otis Franklin Adams was born in 1882, and died at age 36 years old in 1918. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Otis Franklin Adams.

The single most popular fashion accessory for men and women used to be the hat - practical or decorative!
