Mrs. Bernard Peculis Awarded Masters Degree (Barbara Peculis)

MRS. BERNARD PECULIS AWARDED MASTER'S DEGREE
Mrs. Bernard Peculis, 1329 E. 89th Place, received a master of science degree in education from Chicago State College last week at Orchestra Hall. In January of 1958 Mrs. Peculis, the former Barbara Drochowski, received a bachelors degree from Loyola University with a major in psychology. Her education included a half year of study at the University of Vienna and travel throughout Europe and part of Africa. She has a Chicago Public School System teaching certification and has taught at Penn, Marsh and Carver Schools. Mrs. Peculis and her husband have four children and in the past have given foster care to other children. Mrs. Peculis has volunteered her services to tutor in the language arts. She has recently begun work on a master's degree in the teaching of reading..
