A photo of Mary & Martha Barker. My grandmother & her sister worked for Jeff Wilcox as housekeepers when they first came to California. They use to watch riverboats go by the mansion which overlooked the river. He gave them the gold buckles for Christmas made of Placer nuggets. Photo taken at Esterle's Gallery in Sacramento.
