My great-great grandmother, Leah Alice Cloud Clark: I'm looking for any information anyone may have. Leah Alice may have gone by Alice and was, according to family lore, Cherokee. She died very young, like in her early 30's in the Nevada, Missouri area.
Does anyone have any other photos of her, or does anyone recognize this photo as their relative?
I highly incourage you to look deeper about the Cloud name. My dads family is Cloud. All jet black hair, brown eyes dark skin and they are not Native American the Cloud name is Scottish not Native American. It totally shocked us all when we learned about this. Trust me it’s 100% true. The Cloud name came from McLeod Clan. All Scottish. The dark hair is also part of Viken. Wish you the best of luck. She could be part of my dads family?
Hi Angie, I believe you, because that is exactly what I'm finding. I've kind of gotten out of my research lately as I'm starting a new business, but I appreciate you comments and will continue down that path.

I am working on a story of the americas crime of the tribes and their Journey to Oklahoma and other places I have recently found out there is a tribe in Oklahoma from Canada that speaks Aztec as in South America I myself am Mayan decent and Austrian only second generation American I have read listened to the creation stories of South America North America and of the Alaskan tribes And if you really pay attention to what you’re reading it sounds a whole lot like the mythological book holy Bible so I was working on a book about the creation of the americas I say that because they never purchased it? Instead we have a very sad story to tell it’s not right that history should be an every school and we should have movies and TV series about this subject of all indigenous people heroes in Americas and there are so many of them we Gotta keep their memories alive for the ancestors of those who know it as we say in Texas never forget the indigenous people of this land the true Americans
