The Trepina family wedding portrait taken in Chicago 1931. What do you think - did the studio colorize this photo or was it a computer assisted descendant? Regardless, it is beautiful and a dramatic use of color.
Mary E. Brewer I see what you mean about his nose. I didn’t notice it at first. My immediate impression was that they are a very attractive couple and the photo is beautiful.
Sandra Ruth Hurley yeah i tried it with several of my family photos, they said the program can't distinguish some areas from another . Color isn't always correct either . I did one photo it made the eyes brown when they were naturally blue and the stripes on the shirt the person was wearing it made them brown when they were blue too
Pier Piya my mother's wedding dress was similar but she carried a beautiful bouquet of calla lilies. Their colored photo was only from the waist up and I have it hanging in my bedroom.
Black and white photographs were hand colored years ago with photos oils. If this was a hand colored print the flowers were be colored also. The image itself is lovely
ok I know this is amateurish at best but had to add some color, they are a beautiful couple and would be interesting to know their life story, hope it was long and happy.
My parents were married in 1940. No color photos. But my Mom took one of her large photos and painstakingly used colored pencils and colored it ever so perfectly. She was always the perfectionist and oh so patient.
Most certainly colorized. Take a look around the entire border of the photo and you can easily see the line separating the colored rendition and the B&W original. Somebody did a pretty lousy job at Photoshop.
