Jessie M. Herring III

Jessie Herring III (aka Buddy Love) was a Firestone Mechanic for 29 years of his life. In 2006 He retired after an almost fatal accident left him permanently disabled. After the accident he was diagnosed with having epilepsy. This slowed him down over the following years. Buddy was a kind guy and would do anything for any body. Hed give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. 2013 Buddy had another almost death experience when he was brutally attacked by his ex-con brother in law leaving him to be careflighted to harris downtown for an emergency tracheotomy that left him coma tose for over a week. He survived because he always was a fighter and wasn't quite ready to leave this earth. He made a full recovery and continued to live on. 2014 October 4 at 7:45pm he was pronounced dead on arrival by the hurst police department. in the driveway of a private residence. Cause of death is still pending due to a toxicology report wait. The tarrant county medical examiner did say from the autopsy report that he had no existing medical conditions and nothing was medically wrong with him, leaving us to believe it was an overdose of somesort, no foul play was detected. Buddys wishes were to be creamated and release into the wind. He didnt believe in funerals or burials as he didnt want to be mourned over as a body in the ground. He wanted to be with everyone, everywhere. His ashes yet to be release and no set date has been established. He left behind 4 children and 9grandchildren. 2 SIsters and his father Jessie Herring JR. He will be deeply missed and he will live on in all of his family and friends. I guess we really are "pickin up what hes putting down"
