My name is Bambi Vansant Grooms. I am a descendent of Henry's brother Lemuel. Have you had any success in determining who Henry's parents were? I've tried to determine where Haywood, SC is, but have not had much luck. There was also a sister, Harriet and Lydia. Harriet married Castle Pinckney Wigley. Lydia, I'm not sure.
I have quite a bit of information that I would be willing to share. What is your relation?
Bambi: I do have a book called the Paulding Co Hertiage and this is where I got that they were from Haywood SC. It did have his parents name in there e-mail me at [contact link] and I will look it up, also Dallas paulding Co GA has a good census which list the family and names of family members I have found them on it. Henry was the father of my grandmother Laura Parker Pickett so he would be my ggf. Look at the Pickett pictures to see Laura and her family.
