George Cooper Kelcey was born on June 28, 1889 at Mersey River in TAS Australia to Stephen Charles Kelcey and Emily Jane Riley Kelcey, and had siblings Linda Victoria Kelcey, Alan Keith Reginald Kelcey, Stephen Thomas Kelcey, Frederick Henry Kelcey, Frank Delyall Kelcey, and Arthur Raymond Kelcey. He was in a relationship with Mary Jane (Clugstone) Kelcey, and had children Neil "Bill" Kelcey and Raymond Robi Kelcey. George Kelcey died at age 55 years old on December 6, 1944 in Cheltenham, VIC.
