Duffy-Lockhart Engagement Announcement
Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Duffy of Cincinnati announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Marilyn Duffy, to Pvt. James Gilbert Lockhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul S. Lockhart of Louisville. A June wedding is planned.

Miss Duffy will be graduated next month from the University of Cincinnati and is a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Private Lockhart attended the University of Cincinnati and is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.

He was graduated from the Electronics School at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md.

Marilyn Lee Duffy was born on October 7, 1930 to parents Andrew Joseph Duffy and Catherine Wright. She had an older sister Catherine Jean Duffy (1928-2003). Marilyn grew up in Norwood, Ohio and later resided in Cincinnati, OH. She attend the University of Cincinnati and was in the College of Home Economics. In college, she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She married James Gilbert Lockhart (1930-2001) on June 30, 1952 in Hamilton, Ohio when she was 21 years old and had just graduated college. The couple had four children together. Marilyn and James divorced on March or May 18, 1967 after 14 years of marriage. The divorce reason was listed as "Gross Neglect of Duty" and filed by Marilyn. On April 25, 2001 Marilyn Lockhart passed away in Cincinnati, OH.
