He had siblings Albert Thomas Dew, Eulie Grace Dew, and Edith Annie Dew. He married Helen Gladys Dew (Beacham), and died at age 86 years old on December 31, 1975 at Bray on Thames in Windsor and Maidenhead County. Cyril Dew was buried in 1976 at Bray on Thames.
