Harry Worley, wife Etta O'Dell Worley holding their youngest child, Melvin Arlen Worley (born 1932), living on the street following a 6.3 earthquake in March 1933. Child and woman on the right are unknown, but no doubt friends of the Worley's.

We know, Eddy - we live in earthquake area, the Silicon Valley. Our most recent big quake was 6.9!
You guys take care. I believe Mother Earth is beyond angry with the way humanity has been treating her.

My mother and grandmother survived the Long Beach quake of 1933. My mom was 10 years old and never forgot it. Thanks for posting this!

it was probably low light and had to be long exposure- so people moving by breathing could be shaking.. while earthquakes aren't a joke~ i thought the wording was pretty clever.
