Yuvonne Sybia (Barngrover) Hicks was born on February 17, 1938 in Iowa United States to Nola Josephine Browning Barngrover and Dennis Vearl Barngrover, and had siblings Veda Rose Barngrover(Gentry), Delvin Edward Barngrover, Tyla May Barngrover, and Wendell Louis Barngrover. She married Robert Verlin Ament and they later divorced. They had children Terry Lee Ament, Shirley Sue Ament Fields, Marcus Dean Ament, Wayne B Ament, Dywayne Ament, and Cindy Ament Haskins. She also married Carl Leonard Hicks in 1977, and they were married until Yuvonne's death on September 24, 2009.
