  • Introduction

My grandfather originally came from Flatrock Alabama, I believe, I have never known his father's name. He worked for Combustion Engineering in Chattanooga where he was known as "paddlefoot" He was also the owner and operator of Austin's Bait and tackle in Marion County (Jasper) TN. He was the father of Carlton A. Austin (my father) deceased, Faye Austin-Parham (deceased), Samuel E. Austin (deceased) and Donna Austin of Ga.
