    Winnona Marguerite (Dolan) Cass passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born April 23, 1939 in Breckenridge, Missouri. Marguerite graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1957. She then went on to attend airline school in Dallas, Texas and worked for Braniff International Airlines. It is there that she met her husband of 55 years, Bill Cass. Bill and Marguerite were married at the Central Christian Church, Dallas, Texas on June 29, 1959. Marguerite was a homemaker for years while she raised their five daughters. They moved to Kansas in 1969 to be near her family. In 2001 she retired from Fort Leavenworth, Department of the Army. She devoted a good part of her life to various organizations such as her church and choir, Job's Daughters, Past Worthy Matrons, Byington Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Board of Directors, Frontier Credit Union, Elite bus tours and the CW Parker Carousel Museum. Marguerite is survived by her husband, Bill Cass, daughters, Valerie Fuller, Melinda Jackson (Duane), Allison Burge, Natalee Cass (Matthew), Heather Adams, eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren, sisters Pomalee Amos and Sherry Seltman. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Donald E. and Romola B. Dolan. Marguerite enjoyed traveling and volunteering her time to many but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Visitation will be held Saturday September 6 at 10:00am at the First Christian Church with services following at 12:00pm. Following the service there will be a celebration of life in the fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to St. Luke's Foundation, Attention ; St. Luke's Hospice House, 4225 Baltimore Ave, Kansas City, MO 64111. Arrangements entrusted to Davis Funeral Chapel. Condolences may be left on Marguerite's online guestbook at www.davisfuneralchapelinc.com
