    Willie Wallace Willie Jim Wallace, 61, 1165 Franklin Turnpike, died Tuesday evening in The Memorial Hospital of Danville. He had been in declining health for 11 years. Born May 16, 1926, in Pittsylvania County, V.A., he was a son of the late Fred N. Wallace and Annie Worley Wallace. He lived most of his life in Danville, V.A., where he was employed by Blackwell Dodge as an automobile salesman for many years until he retired. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Wallace was a member of Rivermont Baptist Church. On February 27, 1946, he was married to the former Cordelia Talbott, who survives. In addition to his wife, of the residence, survivors include one daughter, Donna W. Mitchell, Keeling, V.A.; two sons, Steve Wallace, Fieldale, V.A., and Dennis W. Wallace, Florence, S.C.; one sister, Jean W. Alderson, Danville, V.A.; two brothers, Henry Wallace, Danville, V.A., and Bobby Wallace, Mount Hermon; and four grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted 4 P.M. Thursday in Highland Burial Park by the Rev. Jerry Parker, with military rites by the American Legion Post No. 325 Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 7:30-9 tonight at Barker Funeral Home and at other times will be at the residence.
