William Thomas Slade of Creswick, VIC Australia was born in 1870 in Creswick to Jane Spence Slade and Charles Slade. He had siblings Jane Guthrie (Slade) Murphy, Mary Anne Slade, James Maxwell Slade, Georgina Slade, Georgina Slade, Euphemia Selina (Slade) Hartup, and John Spence Slade. He married Ada Louisa (Hartup) Slade in 1891, and had children Queenie Bertha (Slade) Pattle, Charles Edward Slade, Jesse William Slade, Ada Violet Slade, Linda Jane Slade, William Thomas Slade, William Thomas Slade, Stanley Robert Slade, and James Guthrie Slade. William Slade died at age 74 years old on October 4, 1945 in Creswick.
