William Hamilton emigrated to the U.S. from N. Ireland in the mid 1880's. He built a store in Seattle during the Klondike Gold Rush. He was, unfortunately, murdered in his store during a robbery on March 11, 1917.
William lived in a back room of this store. He was murdered here in a robbery on March 11, 1917. He never married. He is buried @ Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
