He had siblings Mary Thursa Hedditch, May Annie Hedditch, Catherine Sarah Charlton (Hedditch) Broughton, and John Read Hedditch. William Hedditch married Marion Nunn (Jones) Hedditch in 1890, and died at age 82 years old on November 14, 1939 in Portland.
