Walter John Matthau 1920 - 2000

Walter John Matthau of 1453 21st St., in Santa Monica, Los Angeles County, California United States was born on October 1, 1920 in Lower East Side, New York County, NY to Rose (Berolsky) Matthow and Milton Melas Matthow. Walter Matthau had a brother Henry Matthow. He married Grace Geraldine Matthau circa 1948 in New York City, New York County, NY and they later divorced circa 1958 in New York City. They had children David Martin Matthau and Jenny Wendy Matthau. He married Carol Grace Matthau on August 21, 1959 in New York City, New York County, and they were married until Walter's death on July 1, 2000 at Saint John's Health Center 1453 21st St., in Santa Monica, Los Angeles County, CA. They had a child Charles Marcus Matthau.
