Walter Harcourt Palmer 1862 - 1915

Walter Harcourt Palmer was born on November 4, 1862 in Jerrabomberra, Queanbeyan City Council County, NSW Australia to Pemberton Campbell Palmer and Octavia Caroline (Stoll) Palmer, and had siblings Henry Edmund Palmer, Constance Edith Palmer, Ella Maud Palmer, Pemberton Wilfred Close Palmer, Linda Beatrice Palmer, Howard Frederick Leslie Palmer, Roger Wingham Morton Palmer, and Laurence Alfred Weaver Palmer. He married Elizabeth (Costello) Harcourt Palmer, and they had children Constance Harcourt Palmer and Walter Harcourt Palmer Jr.. He married Antoinette Louise (Edgar-Glennie) Palmer, and they had children Maude Antoinette Evelyn Harcourt Palmer, Roger Ebden Palmer. Sgt., and Olga Tasma Harcourt (Palmer) O'Connor. Walter Palmer died at age 52 years old on June 16, 1915 in Quebec City, Communauté-Urbaine-de-Québec County, QC Canada.

    The Advertiser, Adelaide. 12th March 1906. LONDON PERSONAL NOTES. Mr. Walter Harcourt Palmer, who carried on business in Australia for many years as a civil and mining engineering and a dealer in mining properties, and who came over to England in 1901 with the object of raising money in connection with the promotion of the Great Western Railway of Tasmania, figured in the Bankruptcy Court during the past week. He estimates his liabilities at £1,500 and assets at £13,000. He claims to be entitled to a share of the estate worth between £120,000 and £159,000 left by his mother on her death last year. In 1908, Walter was in Norway. Porsgrunn, Norway. Explosives Patent, filed 9th Sept.1908.
