She had children Douglas Wade Beatty, Charles Drummond Beatty, Leslie Henry Beatty, and Walter Chandler Beatty. Walta Beatty died at age 63 years old on November 20, 2002 in Catlett, Fauquier County, and was buried on November 25, 2002 at St. Stephen's Episcoal Church Cemetery in Catlett.
