Wallace Doesken, age 71, resident of Brainerd, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010, at his home. Wallace was born on Oct. 15, 1938, in Cuyuna County to Henry and Margaret Doesken. He was united in marriage to Judy Wolvert on April 20, 1968, in Nisswa. He is survived by his wife, Judy; daughter, Beth Ann Blume; son-in-law, David Kasper; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Margaret Doesken; one infant sister; and daughter, Taletta Ann Kasper. Services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with Pastor Harvey Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will begin the hour before services. Military honors will be provided by the Brainerd VFW Post No. 1647 Color Guard. Arrangements with Nelson-Doran Funeral Home, Brainerd, Minn. My grandfather

Wallace was my grandfather on my mother's side I don't know anything about our family history and I'd really like to find out all I can he was a great man who always brought joy to my life and he was an amazing role model
