    Virginia W. Jones Mrs. Virginia Dare Wallace Jones, age 74, of 132 Stowe Lane, Dry Fork, V.A., passed away Thursday, May 13, 2010 at Danville Regional Medical Center after a decline in health for the past three years. Mrs. Jones was born on August 1, 1935 in Danville, V.A., a daughter of the late George Lee Wallace and the late Virginia Carter Yates Wallace. She had lived most of her life in Dry Fork, V.A. She was employed by Bassett-Walker for many years as an inspector until her retirement. She attended Whitmell Christian Church. She was married to Phillip Roosevelt Jones, who predeceased her on December 9, 1978. Mrs. Jones is survived by one daughter, Debbie J. Stack and husband, Ron of South Boston, V.A., she was predeceased by one son, Ricky Phillip Jones, also surviving is a daughter-in-law, Betty Jones, of Dry Fork, V.A., two brothers, Dennis Wallace and wife Judy of Dry Fork, V.A., Kenneth Wallace and wife, Rachel of Dry Fork, V.A., three sisters, Betty Marshall and husband, Roy of Roanoke, V.A., Mildred Emerson and husband, Buck of Dry Fork, V.A., Evelyn Oakes and husband, Jack of Ruffin, N.C., four granddaughters, Cynthia Hall and husband, Anthony of Dry Fork, V.A., Tanya Robertson and husband, Jason of Dry Fork, V.A., Shannon Whitlock and husband, Keith of Axton, V.A., Jennifer Trail and husband, Thomas of Dry Fork, V.A., four great grandchildren, Hunter Gauldin, Gracie and Sophie Hall and Tristan Whitlock. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 16, 2010 from Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel by Rev. Tim Oakes. Interment will follow in Highland Burial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. At other times the family will be at the residence, 132 Stowe Lane, Dry Fork, V.A. Wrenn-Yeatts North Main Chapel is respectfully serving the Jones Family.
