She was married to Martin Anthony Tatasciore circa 1949 in Ridley Park, Delaware County, PA, and they were together until Martin's death on April 21, 2004 in Crum Lynne. She had children Karen Faith Singleton, Maureen Louise Lyons, Martin Anthony Tatasciore Jr., and Mary Elizabeth Phillips. Violet Tatasciore died at age 85 years old on May 5, 2015 in Eddystone, Delaware County, PA, and was buried on May 9, 2015 in Springfield.

    Violet B. Tatasciore,85,a lifelong resident of Eddystone died May 5,2015 at her home. Born in Shamokin,she was the daughter of the late Harry and Josephine Smudzin Holobowicz. Violet last was employed at Delaware County Community College. She was a graduate of Eddystone High School,class of 1947. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church,the Sisters of Notre Dame and volunteered at Eddystone Elementary School Library. Violet was the wife of the late Martin A.,''Tootsie'' Tatasciore,her husband of 64 years who died in 2004 and sister of the late Jeanette Landon,Marie Roma,and Joseph Holobowicz. She is survived by her daughters Karen F. Singleton (Ted),Maureen Lyons,Mary E. Phillips (Tom) and her ''favorite son'' Martin A. Tatasciore,Jr.(Despo);her brother Harry Holobowicz;also 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M. Saturday May 9,2015 at St. Rose of Lima R. C. Church,1901 Chester Pike,Eddystone,PA 19022 where friends may call 8:45 to 9:45 A.M. Burial SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. Donations in her memory to the above church.
