Introduction

My great grandmother, Viney Clark, was the youngest of several children. She married John J. Haney and had three children, the middle child, John, died very young, cause is unknown to me. She and great grandfather John had twon daughters, Catherine Louise Haney and Texas Viney Haney. Catherine told me she decided to change the spelling of her name at about age 10, to Kathryn because she liked that spelling better. A precocious child.
