A photo of Viola and Viance Emery - Two youngest daughters of Dr George Reid Emery and his second wife, Polly Stevens. The girls were born on the family homestead near Pecatonica IL. The family had moved from Spencer Ohio in 1839. Viola born 15 Jun 1844 d 3 Mar 1908 Red Cloud NE. Viance b 9 Sep 1847 d 20 Jun 1929. Viance with help of older sister, Candace, wrote 'Pioneer Life in the Family of George Reid Emery.
