He had siblings Wilhelmiina Braski Riippa, Niel Niilo Braski, and Wilma Suoma Braski Burch. He married Lillian Braski, and had children Jane Braski, Joan Braski, and Paul Braski. Vernie Braski died at age 71 years old on November 26, 1980.
