She also married Raymond David Longoria, and they had children Renae Denise Longoria and Raymond David Longoria Jr. Velma Longoria died at age 57 years old on March 19, 1993 at 3204 E Twining Ave, in North Las Vegas, and was buried on March 29, 1993 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1900 Buchanan Blvd, in Boulder City.

my grandma was awesome. unfortunately she passed away when i was 9 i was across the street at my friends bday party having an awful time. i remember walking in in the morning and my mom was right there at the door all she said was grandma is gone i knew what that meant i dropped to my knees and just cried i missed her funeral because i accidentally made myself sick, i guess i just stopped eating my dad stayed home with me. to me my grandma was everything i spent alot of time with her i remember being there at that house with always made me happy it didn't matter what we were doing even if we weren't in the same room i was happy i don't think iv'e ever been that content with anyone other than her i remember her teaching me simple sewing, crocheting,how to fry eggs and how to mix salt and pepper in a shaker to get the perfect taste one day while shopping in kmart she taught me the best yummiest way to eat popcorn is to shove alot in your mouth at once she taught me the difference between a blouse an and a shirt. she prepared me for alot of small thing in life that i still use to this day my mom said that my grandma lived her life like the movie pay it forward
