  • Introduction

I just remember Aunt Vaucy laughing & making me laugh with her! She was married to my Uncle Joe for 32 years until he passed away. He treated her like a Queen as he did all the cleaning, shopping& cooking! He also worked outside of the home so he was "amazing" to me! When my grandmother Duke was very ill my Daddy went to see her& then went home with Uncle Joe. When he got home Daddy told us that when they got to the house Aunt Vaucy said"Joe I've been waiting all day for you to come home & make me a sandwhich!" We laughed at Daddy cause he couldn't understand 'why" she couldn't make one! That was Aunt Vaucy & Uncle Joe loved her ennough to make her a sandwich

I would like to know the date of her marriage & divorce to Hilton Francis Burt. I know about her marriage to my Uncle Joe so I would like to know about her third husband as I'm not sure I found the right one. There are lots of Virgil Coats

Uncle Joe and Aunt Vaucy at my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary Party! Her name was "Vaucyleen" & when I was little I thought her name was"Vaseline" Though I never called her that so probably the reason I was around 10 years old when I found out her real name.
