Valentin Shaulis was born in 1766 in Germany to Sabastian Shallus and Maria Christina Graff, and had siblings Johannes Shallus, Johan Conrad Shallus, Maria Magdalena Shallus, Anna Elizabeth Shallus, Anna Shalm Shallus, Rebecca Margareth Shallus, Catherine Shallus, Christina Shallus, Susanna Shallus, and Rosina Shallus. He was in a relationship with Anna Barbara Shauis, and had a child Adam Shaulis. Valentin Shaulis died at age 71 years old in 1837 in Pennsylvania United States.
