    My father was a honest and hard working man. My father loved his brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces. My father also LOVED his children and grandchildren. In todays world we need to have more values that my father had. He was a man of honoring his elders, taking no short cuts to complete a task, giving 110% to the job and always helping out family, friends and strangers. The only guilt that my dad lacked, was not taking time out to care for his own personal needs. I Love you daddy, God Bless You, Sis oxo oxo oxo

In 1934, in the year that Tommy Lee Hosey was born, on July 22nd, gangster John Dillinger was killed in Chicago. His gang had robbed banks and police stations, among other charges, and he was being hunted by J. Edgar Hoover, head of the FBI - although many in the public saw him as a "Robin Hood". A madam from a brothel in which he was hiding became an informer for the FBI and, after a shootout with FBI agents, Dillinger was shot and died.
