She had siblings Jewel Bone, Nellie Bone, James R. Bone, Johnnie Bone, Pauline Bone, and Marlene Bone Howard. She married Clarence Hartford Harris, and had a child Gerald Hartford Harris. Tippie Harris died at age 74 years old on March 21, 1992 in Hoover, and was buried at Jefferson Garden of Memories in Hoover.
