Introduction

Susan Rene Allen was born on Sept. 30, 1960, in Decatur, Illinois to parents David W. and Jean Allen. She had siblings Steven and Sharon Allen. Susie started her career at GTE on April 27, 1980, specializing in administrative services. Over time, she assumed various roles within the company, including serving as part of the purchasing agent staff administration COE, taking on the position of section manager in the purchasing department, and eventually rising to an executive role as staff manager responsible for quality control. In recognition of her accomplishments, she had the honor of being the guest speaker at the 1994 GTE Mothers and Daughters Day event. Within the GTE community, she was widely recognized as one of the "Babes," a term used affectionately to refer to the accomplished women within the GTE executive branch. She married Randy Loika on July 23, 1982, in San Angelo. The couple had two daughters together.

Susie Loika Obituary

Susie Loika, 34, of Keller, Texas, and formerly of San Angelo went to be with the Lord at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, 1995.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29, in Johnson's Funeral Home chapel, officiated by the Rev. Marvin Gilley. Burial will follow in Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.

Susie was born Sept. 30, 1960, in Decatur, III. She married Randy Loika July 23, 1982, in San Angelo. Susie went to work for GTE on April 27, 1980, in administrative services. Her later work offices were as purchasing agent staff administration COE, section manager of purchasing and was serving as an executive for GTE as staff manager in charge of quality. She was the guest speaker at the 1994 GTE Mothers and Daughters Day event and was best known in GTE as one of the Babes, refferig to her role as one of the women in the GTE executive branch.

Susie loved playing tennis and while living in San Angelo belonged to one of the San Angelo Country Club Tennis leagues. she was a member of the First Nazarene church and was a loving wife and mother and family member.

Survivors include her husband, Randy Loika of Keller: her two daughters, Alex Loika, age 7, and Erica Loika, age 4, both of Keller; her father and mother, David W. and Jean Allen of Dention; her mother in law, Eloise Loika of San Angelo: one brother, Steven Allen of Den ton; and one sister, Sharon Crenshaw and her husband. Jeff, of Denton.

Also surviving are two brothers-in-law and their wives, Larry and Flo Loika of San Angelo and Jim and Justeen Loika of Odessa; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family requests that any memorials be made to The American Cancer Society.
