Uncle Steve
Uncle Steve, my Dad's brother. Was born and resided in Donora, PA, later resided in Lublin, WI and still later in Chicago, IL. Single, no children.
Served in US Army. I remember seeing a photo of him standing in front of the Egyptian pyramids in his uniform. He told me because of his food background, he dealt with meat purchases for his Army Division.
With only an 8th grade education, he built a grocery and butcher shop business at
5050 S. Archer Ave., Chicago, IL. Retired to, then, Higley, AZ with his two sisters, Agnes and Helen.
Felt strongly about his nieces and nephews achieving college degrees.
He walked me down the aisle on my wedding day after my Dad passed away.
