Stanley Stanisław Slubowski was born in 1904 to John Jan Slubowski and Marianna (Bartczak) Slubowski, and had siblings Joseph Slubowski and Władysław Walter Ślubowski. He was in a relationship with Helen (Jeleniewski) Slubowski, and had a child Irene Slubowski. Stanley Slubowski died at age 64 years old in 1968.

In 1904, in the year that Stanley Stanisław Slubowski was born, the Russo-Japanese war began. The Russian Empire and the Japanese Empire began fighting over the territories of Manchuria and Korea. Russia wanted a warm water port on the Pacific Ocean while Japan feared growing encroachment from Russia into Asia. So the Japan fleet launched a surprise attack on the Russian Navy and a one year war began. President Roosevelt of the United States brokered peace between the two nations. It was the first time in the modern era that an Asian power showed its dominance over a European power.

In 1921, Stanley was 17 years old when on March 4, Warren G. Harding became President. Previously a U.S. Senator, Lieutenant Governor, and Ohio State Senator, Harding was a popular President. But many scandals plagued his short administration (he died in office after 2 and a half years), including the revelations of one of his mistresses and the Teapot Dome scandal. Historically, Harding is rated as one of the worst Presidents.
