    Sondra was born in Iowa in 1938 to Mother Maxine M (Sitton) and birth father, D. Vanderpool,. Sondra’s Step-father was Herbert Sitton. Brother - H. Dean Sitton. Sondra married Dennis Borchers (1956) and later they divorced. She married again on 02/14/1972 to Charles E.Waggoner (deceased), whom she met while working at AVIS at the international airport in Dayton, Ohio. Charles worked for TWA. Sondra became a homemaker at the age of 47 after ending her employment at the Masonic Temple in Dayton , Ohio. Sondra was very intelligent and witty. She was highly fond of animals. She had a side to her that could be very compassionate, caring, and nurturing but this lay hidden behind fierce rage and anger on a daily basis. She played by the rules of revenge and spewed venom as she saw fit. She loved to drink Genesee Ale -her happier moments of the day came at evening after consuming several bottles of her favorite brew. She was addicted to television shopping channels and thought nothing of spending thousands of dollars on jewelry or electronics. Sondra had no biological children and no biological nieces or nephews. Sondra is buried at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Vandalia, Ohio next to her second husband Charles E Waggoner.

In 1938, in the year that Sondra Sue (Sitton) Waggoner was born, on June 25th (a Saturday) the Fair Labor Standards Act was signed into law by President Roosevelt (along with 120 other bills). The Act banned oppressive child labor, set the minimum hourly wage at 25 cents, and established the maximum workweek at 44 hours. It faced a lot of opposition and in fighting for it, Roosevelt said "Do not let any calamity-howling executive with an income of $1,000 a day, ...tell you...that a wage of $11 a week is going to have a disastrous effect on all American industry."
