My One and Only Pa: My Pa as we called him was the most amazing, loving, caring, man you could of ever met. He loves his family more than anything and was always there with a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He had a passion for animals and lawn mowers. sounds kind of funny now but he couldn't pass a lawn mower along the side of the road without stopping. I remember he would take them home and fix them up and resell them. He loved going to the animal auction down in Athens, Pa every Monday. As soon as I got outta work I would go straight to his house and away we went with to the auction. First we would go walk around the out door garage sale they had when the weather was nice, then into the barn to look at all the animals. Pa he loved the horses. We would go up and watch the auction for a while and socialize with the people with knew and then we would head out to our diner. We went to the Waverly diner on the corner and he would get his split pea and ham soup it was our every Monday afternoon event. Then we would take our time getting home, sometimes we would stop at stray haven and look at all the dogs and then head up on the hill to see our horses and then finally home for the night. God I miss those days, and I miss him dearly. Not a day goes by that I don't wish he was still here with me, a piece of my heart is now in Heaven with my Pa.
