Schlin believes very strongly in Jesus Christ. She taught Sunday school, was a youth Pastor and prayer warrior. Believes in Heaven and spreading the good news to everyone. Truly loving people with her whole heart. No one was a stranger to her.

She started in the food industry at the age of 15 and carried into that for over 20 years into her own baking business. She had a strong background for sales and marketing as well as the hospitality industry.

Schlin went by Lin. She would bake and cook for her neighbors and friends. She loved to make people happy by feeding them. She would always try new recipes and later add her own twist. She remarried at the age of 34 to a Michael Levi Reilly March 11, 2019 at the justice of the peace in Abilene Tx. They bought a home and started a business in baking. 2024 they shared a granddaughter Brielle Margaret-Kay Demmitt born June 10 in Abilene Tx.
